ManyMail

This module is no longer maintained. Since its conception, mail providers such as MailChimp have come up with free plans and I would advise trying those out instead.

Overview

ManyMail is a mass e-mail module for Drupal 7, based on the popular PHPMailer library. It allows you to easily send thousands of e-mails through an SMTP server from within a Drupal website.

The module pays special attention to high customizability and trying to avoid being marked as spam.

Send mass e-mail to virtually anyone.

Through a set of submodules, you can extend the basic functionality of sending all users or specific roles with Views support, custom lists and more.

E-mail throttling

An AJAX batch sending system that sends a certain amount of e-mails each interval and gives you live feedback about the progress of your mail delivery.

High customizability:

• Set default sender, body, signature, reply-to address, ...
• Configure SMTP server
• Configure your own recipient groups with views (default view to clone provided)
• Create custom lists that involve non-user recipients
• Send mail as HTML or plain text
• Database logging
• Resume option for cancelled e-mail

Requirements

• PHPMailer 5.x: A php library for sending mass e-mails (read the INSTALL.txt on how to install)
• Libraries API 2.x: To ensure that you include the PHPMailer library properly
